-Identify the attachments of the obliques, rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, erector spinae, multifidus, and quadratus lumborum.
-Recall the joint actions performed by the obliques, rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, erector spinae, multifidus, and quadratus lumborum.
-Analyze a commonly performed trunk exercise and list the contributing muscles.
-Develop a “real world example” of how intervention/exercise selection may be influenced by an understanding of the function and actions of the trunk muscles.
