This Contractor Management training course explains what is required for the safe and effective management of contractors. It looks at how to consider the risks associated with contractors’ work and implement appropriate control measures. Furthermore, it emphasises the importance of communicating and coordinating with contractors to make the work as efficient and safe as possible.
By law, any business that hires contractors to work on their premises becomes responsible for their health and safety. If you are in charge of managing health and safety in your workplace, this applies to you. You and the contractors both have joint responsibilities however, so it’s important to know what health and safety law requires from each of you.
At the end of the course learners will be required to answer ten multiple choice questions. The pass mark is 100%. If learners don’t pass first time they will be re-directed to the start of the module, where they can review the content again and re-take the assessment.
