Upon completion of this course: You will be able to plan and teach a water based group fitness class in shallow to transi- tional water, You will understand the properties of water and how this makes water based exercise different to land based exercise, You will be able to offer adaptations and modifications to enable an all inclusive water based group fitness class, You will have knowledge of common conditions, what exercises are suitable for those conditions and know when to refer to other professionals, You will have knowledge of pool safety procedures and standard operating procedures to ensure you work safely and in accordance with health and safety procedures, You will have knowledge of equipment available for water based classes and be able to teach noodle exercises.
