-Recall the structure and function of each hamstring muscle.
-Recall the structure and function of the adductors.
-Identify the attachments of the hamstrings and adductors.
-Recall the joint actions performed by the hamstring and adductors muscles.
-Compare the flexors and extensors of the hip.
-Analyze a commonly performed lower body exercise and list the contributing hip muscles.
-Develop a “real world example” of how exercise/intervention selection may be influenced by an understanding of the function and actions of the hamstrings and adductor muscles.
