At the end of this course, the learner will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of: How to coach women through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause through developing your coaching skills; The anatomical and physiological changes that women experience throughout the menopause transition and beyond, including the pelvic floor; How to set good psychological, nutritional and exercise foundations for menopausal women; How to navigate challenging conversations about weight gain, hormone and menstrual cycle issues, hot flushes, energy loss, self-doubt, identity loss, and other common health roadblocks impacting women; How to write safe training programs, coach nutrition, and use women-specific behavior change psychology to empower women over 40, all while remaining within your scope of practice. This Certification is a combination of textbook self-study which includes a workbook, questions, case studies, and chapter quizzes requiring a minimum passing score. The online portal includes access to videos, additional resources, client support, and assessment tools.
