The Myzone Heart Rate Training Certificate is a comprehensive three part course covering Heart Rate Training essentials, Heart Rate Training Adaptations and Training
Applications, and Training Strategies for Unique Populations. The goal of this course is to provide fitness professionals with the tools they need to confidently coach any
individual or group using heart rate feedback and add value to their clients with engaging and motivating sessions.
Learners will:
1. Understand and identify optimal heart rate training zones for increased performance and results as well as how to exercise safely using heart rate.
2. Gain an understanding of the physiological contributors and responses to exercise to be able to create and structure heart rate specific programs based on session goals,
desired intensities and intended outcomes.
3. Tailor training programs to unique populations using heart rate including people with disabilities, injuries and limitations, at-risk populations and high performance athletes.
Upon completion of the course a 30 Multiple Choice Test of questions on Heart Rate Training Certification content will need to be completed and passed
