Students to understand the importance of effective communication and the behaviours and characteristics that will help them be more effective when working with clients Students to understand RAMP warm up theory and how to structure a RAMP warm up. For cool down Advanced PNF, SMR, and body weight stretches. Students to understand FMS screening along with the following gym-based assessment techniques • Overhead squat test – deep • Rotational Stability test • Inline Lunge – stick behind back • Single leg balance (eyes closed and open) • Upper body FMS – shoulder later range • Active straight leg raise. Full FMS screen covered along with overview of sport specific tests based on client goals. Examples of corrective exercise shared and how to use the information to improve human performance. Students to understand hierarchy of movement and the main strength and conditioning lifts how they are broken down and coached to a client. Students to be able to do the lifts and teach someone else to do them. Students to understand the difference between plyometric, speed and agility drills. How they are applied and when to use them. Develop further knowledge of programme design utilising what they have learnt on the practical days on the course. Develop an understanding of coaching, relationship building and communication at Expert and Master trainer level • Develop a structured needs analysis and movement screen FMS • Learn the RAMP Warm up and SMR, Trigger point and PNF cool down techniques • Learn the hierarchy of movement and lifting series • Understand the lifts used in Strength and Conditioning • Understand Speed, Agility and Plyometric training • Practise as a group and receive feedback • Understand Exercise, Mobility, Movement, Injury Reduction in programming for your clients
