The aim of this CPD is to provide individuals with the basic knowledge required to effectively engage and interact with autistic children within a swimming lesson.
It is designed to be engaging throughout and ensures the individual obtains current up-to-date knowledge and adaptations to help improve the swimmers experience.
This CPD focuses on understanding autism, the challenges faced in swimming lessons, how to positively interact with autistic children and discussion on ways to make lessons engaging.

Pre-requisites
- This CPD is aimed at anyone over the age of 16 years inclusive of swimming teachers and assistants, swim coordinators, schools teachers and staff delivering school swimming lessons.
