This course covers the many interlinking elements associated with health and safety and is an introduction to how they are managed. It also develops the learners’ understanding of the legal framework and risk assessment with reference to a range of specific topics such as manual handling, COSHH, fire and work at height.

Pre-requisites
- A basic knowledge of Health and Safety is required, and a Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace or equivalent is recommended. Learners must be at least 16 years of age.
