The purpose of this qualification pathway is to develop the learner’s ability to embed food safety and hygiene principles into practice whilst fulfilling their role in the activity environment.
It differs from other similar qualifications as it requires all training and assessment to be contextualised to the learner’s occupational environment and job role. Contextualisation is proven to enhance the learning experience, increase achievement rates and enables safe practice in the context of own role upon completion.
