The aim is to enable military veterans, military professionals, and personal trainers to enhance their scope of professional practice and be licensed to fulfil the role of an Outdoor Fitness and Bootcamp Trainer. The objective is to enhance employability prospects for those who wish to offer services in this context. Learners will develop knowledge and skills required to:
demonstrate accurate and safe outdoor exercise technique.
engage and educate participants in the development of an initial profile.
conduct safety checks through outdoor exercise reconnaissance, risk assessment and accident prevention techniques.
influence sustainable psychological and physiological development of participants through safe, effective outdoor fitness sessions and bootcamp programmes.
analyse the impact of outdoor fitness sessions and bootcamp programmes.
The qualification certificate serves as a licence to practice for Outdoor Fitness and Bootcamp Trainers. It is endorsed by The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity [CIMSPA] as valid CPD. Learners are eligible to receive 10 CPD points upon successful completion.
This qualification is developed with the British Training Board [BTB] as the technical collaborator. BTB is a specialist education provider for military professionals and veterans across the UK. It is validated through consultation with industry employers, education providers and equality experts.
