With that intent, we are establishing the first Performance Pathway Coaching Collective (PPCC) which will support the vision of delivering a world-leading performance coaching system. The decision to move towards a coaching collective, rather than coach programme, is a direct result of the feedback from coaches who attended previous programmes. Coaches told us they value the connections with fellow sports and coaches, as well as the opportunity to explore and deal with real-life situations in real-time. The PPCC aims to merge two previous UK Coaching Programmes (Horizon and Elevate). This progressive approach represents a move away from women-only programmes towards an integrated approach offering all coaches, irrespective of gender, the opportunity to explore challenges faced on the ground. Coaches will be offered spaces to explore specific challenges in real-time, meaning women will continue to be offered the option to explore their experiences in women-only spaces if desired.
