At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
1 – Identify what a club welfare officer (CWO) does.
2 – Describe how a club welfare officer works with others to create a child-centred environment.
3 – Explain how the club welfare officer role fits into the wider safeguarding environment.
4 – Explain how safeguarding fits into the wider culture of the organisation.
5 – Apply learning to case studies, including sharing good safeguarding practice.
